Special Information for the Artist
Born in Athens, in 1953.
He studied painting at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts (1976-1982) in Paris. In 1983 he returned to Athens, and during 1988-1992 he lived and worked in Berlin.
His works are landscapes, scenes from nature and elements (hills, tree trunks, volcanoes, floods, hurricanes) and human figures.
He has presented his work in solo exhibitions:
• «Bernier», 1986, 1989
• «K. Palama Building», 1989, 1997
• «Mutter Courage», Berlin, 1990
• Goethe Institute, 1990 etc.
And has participated in group exhibitions:
• «Titanium», 1988
• «Milos», Thessaloniki, 1991, etc.
His works can be found in PD Athens, the Gallery of Cyclades, Syros, the Pergamon Museum, Berlin, Germany, etc. He is a member of EETE (Chamber of Fine Arts).
