He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1938-1942). With scholarship of French government he attended courses in the Academies Julian and Grande Chaumiere. Since then he installed and worked permanently in Paris. In his work he has as a starting point the optical reality which is not being limited in the descriptive values. About 1960 he limits and finally abandons the descriptive elements grounds it passes in a painting of abstract types with clearly personal formulations. He has presented his work individually (Ariel Lucien Durand Paris 1951, Zacharioy 1955, Zygos 1956, Obelisk London 1956, Le Cercle Paris 1957, Breekpot Antwerp 1959, Jeanne Bucher Paris 1962, Cahiers d'Arts Paris 1965, Musee Galliera Paris 1972, Karl Flinker Paris 1974, 1982, Room of Art Athens 1975, Jacques Benador Geneva 1976, Roswitha Haftmann Zurich 1977, Lavigness Bastille Paris 1990, Room of Art Athens Salon de Mars Paris 1992, Universite de Rouen Rouen 1993, Arsenal Metz France 1994) and has taken part in group exhibitions as well.
