Special Information for the Artist
Born in Athens in 1924 and died in Paris in 1981. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1942-1947) near K. Parthenis. In 1954 he went to Paris and studied fresco at the École des Beaux-Arts (1954-1955). He also attended classes in general decoration at the École des Metiers d'Arts (1954-1957), with the teacher J. Auzame. Since 1954, he settled permanently in France and worked with the gallery «Les Arts Plastiques Modernes» of Mouradian-Valloton (1957-1974). He has presented his works in solo exhibitions (Paris 1960, 1961, 1963: «Les Arts Plastiques Modernes», 1962: “Architecture”, 1964 "Stoa", Paris 1967: «Galerie Coard» etc.). He dealt for a time with the scenery. His works can be found in EPMAS etc. He was a member of EETE.
