Special Information for the Artist
Born in Heraklion of Crete in 1947, where he lived and created until 1994. Since then he lives and works in Athens. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts since 1991. In 1993, received the "Award Kazantzakis", awarded by the Municipality. For his work have been written by Ch. Lydakis, T. Sideris, G. Mourelos, G. Savvides, Ch. Christou, M. Makris, G. Tsarouchis, M. Michaelides, D. Pantelidis, D. Kalomirakis, P. Karabelas, etc. His works can be found in Heraklion Municipal Art Gallery, National Gallery, Museum Vorres, Cultural Foundation of the National Bank, in the collections of the Agricultural and Ionian Bank art to the foundation in ETVA in private collections in Greece, France and Belgium. Also in the collection of Gallery Rasines, collections C. Antony and B. Fysyra, the Christmas card to work. In 1992, reprinted in honor of the musical work of Stavros Xarhakos, Pierides Museum, comes with its own cover of the album "Red Light".
