Special Information for the Artist
She was born in Mirina of Limnos in 1951.
She studied painting, with scholarship of IKY, at the Athens School of Fine Arts, close to G. Mavroidis (1970-1974) and hagiography close to K. Xynopoulos (1972-1974). With scholarship of Dutch government she continued her studies in Rijksakademie of Amsterdam with the teacher H. Op de Laak. She studied the movements of modern art, residing in Paris. Her work is moved in the frames of expressionism with abstractive tendencies and dynamic colours. She works as a professor of secondary education. Her work can be found in the Museum of Modern Art in Amsterdam.
