He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (
1930-1935 ) drawing and engraving. For two years in 1939 he worked in lithographic department of planning and mo del implementation of national bank. In his work portrays landscapes of Greece, dead natures and high comedian scenes. He also combines impressionistic and cubist elements, following a course of shaped that led him in abstraction. He presented also his work individually (Ersis 1989 , 1993 ). In 1990 he org anized retrospective of his wo rk in the EPMAS and in 1995 in the Hyacinth. Since 1933 he participated in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He was member of the artistic team “Free Art ists” and of the Team “Greek Painters-image graver”, “International Union of Wood designers “Xylon”, team “Laboratory” as well as founding member of KEE (EETE) which he was chairman of.
