Special Information for the Artist
Born in Athens, in 1970. He comes from one of the oldest families, of the historical island of Salamina.
He studied architecture at the University of Westminster in London, where he completed a course in life drawing (Westminster University) and studied painting at the Royal Academy of Arts (London).
Alongside these dealing with poetry, publishing in 1993, the poetry collection "Spring Equinox", with very positive feedback from the Literary Community. In 2009 presented the first comprehensive study in Visual Arts for the "Human Soul", in his report ''SOUL TO SOUL - H PORTRAIT OF THE SOUL". Also presented the thematic report ''Avrianoi Oramatistes" from the DA VINCI of DALI.
He has participated in many group exhibitions in Greece, receiving excellent reviews for the original conception and execution of his projects. His works can be found in many private collections in Greece and in selected art galleries.
Leading critics have accompanied his work with texts, such as PhD of THE HISTORY OF EUROPEAN ART, Mr. Stelios Lidakis, Shina Athena D. Doulgeridis etc.
He is a member of the Institute of Fine Arts and Music B & M THEOCHARAKI of P.E.L.T., club UNESCO of Piraeus and founding member of the Visual Group Salamis.
He has also been awarded from the UNESCO group of PIRAEUS, for his report ''SOUL TO SOUL-THE PORTRAIT OF THE SOUL".
Dealing with painting starts from his childhood. Hero of his childhood is Leonardo Da Vinci, and embracing the low Leonarntiani thought and perceiving of things. Responsible nurtured by the Science and Art to companions in an unbroken section. This fact will play a catalytic role in later development.
Since then begins a long-term study on the History of Art, which lasts until today. Parallel,he was attracted by fundamental principles of Geometry, Physics, Mathematics, Architecture, etc. His study, includes studies of Quantum Physics, Relativity Theory, Pythagorean Philosophy Soufiki Tradition, The system: GURDJIEF-USPENSKY etc. until Internal Theological Tradition East and West.
Benchmarks in this research holds the Renaissance and Surrealism, as a prominent historical periods of Fine Arts, with a key objective for structuring and presenting new ideas and themes that have reappeared in the Visual Arts today. This pursuit of deals with the evolution of ideas in the Arts, in conjunction with the most important areas of the world of thought today.
The basic line of his thought for the Visual Arts, summarized in the ''THREE MEDITATIONS FOR THE ART OF THE 21ST CENTURY'', and is the convergence of: Science, Theology and Philosophy axis connecting the Eik.Technes, and represent the key to the evolution of ideas in art of the 21st century.
He has made several speeches that deal was pursuing. The multitude of publications on most major newspapers and magazines have hosted articles and tributes to his work.
