Special Information for the Artist
He was deafmute since he was born. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He continued his studies in Paris (1989-1894). He worked particular with great success in portraits, but also draw paintings with historical subjects. He dealt also with hagiographies, following Western European models and giving particular accent in the role of light.
