Special Information for the Artist
He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1939-1946) and later drawing and engraving at Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Paris (1952-1953). At the same time he studied drawing, engraving and graphic arts at free academies and laboratories. He collaborated with “Fine Films” and “L.TC.” Paris. He decorated shops, commercial kiosks and home, and made murals and signs. He took care of publications and design covers of books, album, periodical etc.
Since 1949 he took part in group exhibitions (Pan-Hellenic 1952, 1963, 1967, 1971, 1975) and in 1960 he started presenting his work individually with constituted units (Nees Morfes 1960, 1970, 1971, 1974, 1977, 1981, 1986, 1993, Architectural 1966, Astor 1970, Ora 1973, Argo Nicosia 1973, Kochlias Thessalonica 1975, Argo 1987, Festival Greek Left 1988).
He also took part in the International Exhibitions in Belgrade and in Bucharest in 1977, in Stuttgart in 1978, in Paris in 1978, in Nicosia in 1978. He has published studies for the art and books. He was member of EETE.
