Special Information for the Artist
Painter. He was born in Lamia, in 1928.
Firstly, he studied at the School of Fine Arts (1946-1951) painting by A. Georgiadis and he continued his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti (1959-1960) of Rome and at the Ecole Normale de Dessin in Geneva. Inset in his work is the human form.
In his early work gives snapshots of everyday life with academic style, and then the project becomes more free, bold strokes, usually black, and his morphoplastic language more abstract.
He has presented his work in solo exhibitions and has participated in group exhibitions. His works can be found in Municipal Gallery of Thessaloniki etc. He taught aesthetic education in secondary and higher education. He is a member of EETE (Chamber of Fine Arts) and Visual Artists Association of Northern Greece.
