Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Athens in 1930.
He studied at School of Fine Arts in Athens and Rome with a scholarship. In 1960 he settled in Paris. Between 1970-72 was in Berlin invited by the artistic program of DAAD.
In 1973 he returned to Greece and signed a contract with the collector- dealer and gallery owner Alexander Iola and thus inaugurated the beginning of a collaboration that lasted until 1986 when Iolas died.
He presented his work in several exhibitions in Greece and abroad in 1963 and in 1965 at Biennale of Paris in 1965 at the Biennale of Sao Paulo as the "National Report" and at a solo exhibition at the gallery "Hilton" in Athens. His most important works are Coveralls portraits and his seascapes.
