Special Information for the Artist
He studied at Royal Institute of Naples. He continued and finished his study in Rome. His main subjects are the world and the nature of Egypt, scenes from daily life, the peculiar landscape of country, with the dry desert or wide river with the rich vegetation. It dealt still with the portrait and still life paintings.
He presented his work in group exhibitions (Olympia 1888, Report Berlin 1896, Zappeio 1898, Artistic You exposed Athens 1899, Company Artistic 1901, International report Athens 1903, Report of artistic Contact 1904, Zappeio 1907, International You exposed Cairo 1909, Cairo 1910, Greek Artists in Egypt 1860-1920, EPMAS 1983).
