Special Information for the Artist
He studied at [ASKT] (1941-1947) painting. His work is moving in the frame of representative painting, a particular place occupy landscapes, seascapes, still life paintings and anthropocentric subjects. His compositions are distinguished by harmonious proportions and balanced provision of volumes, as well as by the tectonics, with cubist extensions, space organization. The rich chromatic gradations offered by the use of colourful India ink, characterize the series of face paintings presented in a retrospective exhibition and the stability of sketch give their position at the expressionist types of his last works.
He has presented individually (Nees Morfes 1964, 1965, Rotoda 1975, Collection 1980, Art Room Piraeus 1980, Dimotiko Theatre Piraeus 1983, Dada 1988, EPMAS 1989, Enstasis 1994, PKD Koridallou 1995, PKD Nikaias 1998) taken part in group exhibitions as well. He was member of EETE.
