BIOGRAPHY

He was born in Piraeus in 1930.

He studied law at the Athens University and was taught painting for five years by P. Papaloukas. He mainly paints oils in canvas and watercolors. In his first work he moves among the frames of representative art, where impressionistic aspects and opinions dominate as well as bright impressionistic colours. In his subsequent work, he is led to an abstract painting with colours that are distinguished for their autonomy. The watercolors with landscapes cover the bigger part of his artistic production. His work is distinguished for their fluid atmosphere, the transparency of colour and the diffraction of light.
