Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Hydra, in 1925.
He studied at the Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts in Athens under Kostis Pathenis and also at the Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, fresco at the studio Ducos de la Haile and etching at the studio E. Goerg. He also studied at the Paris branch of the Italian Mosaic School of Ravenna (Gino Severini).
He exhibited at the 1957 Biennale of Sao Paolo and at the 1959 Biennale of Alexandria and Paris.
In 1960 he took part in the International Exhibition of Lugano and the Greek Etching Show in Stockholm.
Between 1951 and 1956, he taught drawing art at the National Technical University.
In 1976 he was appointed professor at the Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts in Athens.
