Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Tripoli, in 1945.
He is the son of the fighter of the National Resistance J. Talaganis (Zevgou). He studied architecture at the Architectural Institute of Moscow (1964-1971). He began painting in 1971 and that year he moved to Italy where he studied architecture and painting of the Renaissance and then in Paris where he worked as an architect. He returned to Greece in 1974.
His painting is moving in a climate of lyrical realism, with plan which referred to Greek vase painting. He also worked with photography.
He has presented his work in solo exhibitions and he has participated in group exhibitions. His works can be found in Municipal Gallery of Athens, of Heraklion, etc. He has painted posters, props, costumes and medals. He has received awards and honors.
