Special Information for the Artist
Born in Piraeus in 1906 and died in Athens in 1989. In 1921 he enrolled in the Athens School of Fine Arts where he studied painting under D. Geraniotis, S. Vikatos, G. Roilos, G. Iacovidis, E. Thomopoulos, Nikolaos Lytras and P. Mathiopoulos. he painted portraits and landscapes.
He has presented his work in solo exhibitions:
• "Parnassus" 1931, 1975, 1983
• Piraeus Marine Club 1980, 1985
• Piraeus Dimarcheiako Hall 1980, 1985
• P.K.D. Athens 1987
and took part in group exhibitions:
• Panhellenic 1938, 1939, 1948, 1952, 1957, 1960, 1963, 1967, 1969, 1971, 1973, 1975 etc.
His works can be found in EPMAS, the Minicipal Gallery of Piraeus, Ioannina, Kalamata, the Eutaxias-Vouros Museum, the National Bank etc. He was a member of EETE.
