Special Information for the Artist
He began studying graphic arts and decoration in KTE (1969-1970) and continued with free studies of painting. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1976-1981). He continued with studies of aesthetics and philosophy of art in Paris I-Sorbonne. His painting is moved in the frame of abstraction. In his work an intense expressionistic character is being distinguished. He has presented his work in individual exhibitions (Medousa 1981, Cebtre Culturel du Proche-Orient Paris 1983, Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris 1991, Moiraraki 1992, Aenaon 1993, Mac 2000, Espace Eiffel Paris 1994, A. Selmersheim Paris 1996, Portes Ouvertes Paris 1996) and has taken part in group exhibitions as well. He published texts on the art, and since 1996 he directs the Laboratory of Figurative Arts of Municipality in Amfissa. He is member of EETE.
