Special Information for the Artist
He began his studies at the laboratory of P. Sarafianos and continued at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He also studied stage design with V. Basileiadis. From early years of his studies, he worked professionally as a caricaturist so much in newspapers, as “Democratic Change” (1964-1967) and “Eleftheros Logos” (1964-1967) as well as in magazines, such as “Tachidromos”, “Panspoudastiki”, “Our generation” etc. He was artistic associate in the magazine “Epitheorisi Tecnis”. He collaborated also with a lot of Greek-speaking but also with foreigner newspapers of abroad. He worked in the newspapers “Eleftherotypia”, “Avgi”, “Exormisi” etc. He has been honored with the award of caricature of magazine Eleftherotypia and has published line of humorous books. He has presented his work in individual exhibitions (Ora 1981, 1987 Mati Ekaterini 1987, PKD Agia Paraskevi 1989, Room of Art Athens 1990, 1995, Terrakotta Thessaloniki 1994, Wigmore Fine Art London 1997 etc.) and has taken part in group exhibitions as well. He is member of EETE and “Union of Authors of Periodical Press”.
