Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Limassol, in 1937. He studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre (1961-1964) and continued with studies of film in New York at the Schools Visual Arts and Movie Subscription Group (1964-1967). He appeared in the visual space around 1960. The art of the state begins the series of microcosm and macrocosm projects initiated in the climate of abstraction. Then he moved to the area of surrealistic tendencies and metaphysical painting and gave the series Metabolism and Adoration for Sun, focusing on the transformation of matter.
