BIOGRAPHY

He is one of the most important Greek painters and engravers of the 20th century. He was born in Smyrna in 1917. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in 1939, where he studied close to K. Parthenis and S. Vikatos. His first solo exhibition was in 1954 in the hall steps. From then until his death in 1984, took part in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad (Ottawa, Rome, Toronto, Montreal, Alexandria, Helsinki and New York). He was nominated for the prize Guggenheim. His works are still in the National Gallery of Athens, the gallery of Rhodes, and dozens of projects are in New York, purchased through the World House Gallery, and many other private collections in Greece and abroad.
