BIOGRAPHY

He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1934-1939). He particularly created posters and engraving having a revolutionary content in order to help the reproduction of proportional work from other artists. He was secretary of organization of artists of KKE. In 1950 left for Paris, where he studied engraving at Ecole des Beaux-Arts (1950-1952). His painting lends an impressionistic character. He uses three or five tons in wide surfaces. He has presented his work in individual exhibitions (Parnassos 1954, 1956, Zygos 1960, Rodiaki Club, Rhodes 1964, Montenapoleone Milan 1964, Architectural 1966, Lavella Bern 1966, Gallerie MJC Paris 1968, 1976, 1981, 1989, 1993, 1996, Center Culturel Maxim Gorky, Rouen 1969, Center Socio-Educatif France 1971, Argo Nicosia 1972, EPMAS 1982, Ora 1984, Peinture Fraiche Paris 1989, French Institute Piraeus 1991, Palais de Tokyo Paris 1993 etc.) and has taken part in group exhibitions as well. He is member of EETE.
