Special Information for the Artist
Chara Partheni was born in Athens, she studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, under Y. Moralis and D. Mitaras. Stage design under V. Vassiliadis.
Then she continued her studies at the Art Theatre of K. Koun.
1982: «Jeunes artists Grecs», Paris
1985-1986: Group exhibitions at the "Epipeda" Gallery, Athens
1987: Solo exhibiton at Zalokosta 7 Gallery, Athens
1988: Represents Greece with M. Koukos in Smolian (Artists Symposium), Bulgaria
1996: Solo exhibition "Water Scenes", Skoufa Gallery, Athens
Since 1988, she teaches freehand drawing in the Laboratories of Liberal Studies A.T.E.S.
While dealing with design furniture (painted construction) and handmade jewelry.
Her works can be found in private collections in Greece and abroad.
