Aris Papazoglou was born in Athens in 1950.
While still in secondary school, he began to study drawing and colouring under the painter Photis Sarris. In 1969, he was admitted to the School of Fine Arts of Athens, from which he graduated in 1974, having completed his studies in painting under such outstanding painters as Nikos Nikolaou, Giorgos Mavroidis and Yiannis Moralis. After exhibiting his works in two-one man shows, he left in 1979 for Paris, where he resided for two years. He now lives and paints in Athens.
His works can be found at the Ministry of Culture and in private collections in Greece.
