Special Information for the Artist
Born in Thessaloniki, in 1938.
A self-taught. He worked as a bank clerk.
His themes, influenced by the teacher of his school years, the painter G. Paralis, includes free and mainly urban, landscapes of Halkidiki, Pelion, Skopelos, Lemnos and the Upper Town of Thessaloniki. In small works dominates the detailed description, the colorful and idyllic tranquility.
He has presented his work in solo exhibitions in Thessaloniki:
• Commercial Bank, 1979, 1981
• «Diagonios», 1985, 1987
• «Ianos», 1997
and group exhibitions:
• The city of painters, "Ianos", 1997
• Thessaloniki 1960, 1997 etc.
As an associate of "Diagonios" (1977-1992) participated in the group reports. He is a member of EETE (Chamber of Fine Arts) and SKETVE (Visual Artists Association of Northern Greece).
