Special Information for the Artist
Born in Nea Palatia of Attica, in 1957.
She studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of Athens (1981-1986) under D. Mitaras and N. Kessanlis. She also attended courses of scenery under B. Vassiliadis and engraving under Th. Exarchopoulos.
The natural environment and the fantastic landscapes are the themes of her projects, that run both in the abstract expressionism and the performing arts. In her work uses mixed media (oil, acrylic, pastel), but in the engraving mainly the woodcut and silkscreen. Drawing accurate and detailed performance distinguish her compositions.
She has presented her work in group exhibitions:
