Special Information for the Artist
Born in Istanbul, in 1956.
She studied political science (1974-1978) at the Faculty of the University of Athens, and painting (1977-1980) at the Vakalo School.
Until 1989 she worked on silk compositions inspired by the vegetable world. Then reflect on doors and debris within documents, while gradually usurp the removal and is particularly interested in the textures of materials. With color overlays and collage creates wall configurations, distinguished by the sense of wear. Very often uses old pieces of wood in irregular shapes, on which interfere with colors, alignments and pasting various materials (pieces of bags, newspapers, etc.). For many years, she dealt with applied arts and mural.
