Special Information for the Artist
Studied at the Akademie der Bildencken Kunste (1835 – 1840) in Vienna, taught by L. Kupelweiser, continued his studies in Venice, by N. Schiavoni and in 1881 moved to Athens. His paintings-mainly portraits and allegory - were influenced by a team of Viennese painters, named “Biedermeirer” and also other painters of the 17th century.
He participated in worldwide exhibitions (Vienna 1873, Paris 1878)
