Special Information for the Artist
Born in Athens in 1927.
Origin from Ithaca (father) and Patra (mother), she had the opportunity to experience from her childhood the natural environment and especially the Ionian island of Ithaca, which had a profound effect on her character and her work. She studied painting and engraving at the School of Fine Arts of Athens (1946-1952), under K. Parthenis and O. Argyros in painting, and under G. Kefalinos in engraving.
The man and the environment are the main pillars of her aesthetic pursuits. The subject matter of the present simple images and temporary, transient phenomena, which cause sensitivity. Served especially in engraving and etching on linoleum, and successfully uses the texture and color dynamics of the paper when printing this issue. She has also worked with the compositional technique of collage, using the screen printing and photocopying reproduction of images.

She has published texts on engraving and art. She took part in radio and television presentations and interviews. She was a member of the group "Center for Engraving" and SMTG of Krakow. She is a member of EETE (Chamber of Fine Arts).
