Efi Micheli was born in Athens.
She appeared in the world of art as a painter in 1952 with works in naif style, which are retaining the freshness of childhood. She participated in all Panhellenic Exhibitions since 1952 until 1973, and in numerous group exhibitions in both Greece and abroad.
Her works are found in galleries and museums in both Greece and abroad as well as in private collections.
She was a member of several art associations, helped to the recommendation of the International Women's Cultural Federation (Fédération Internationale Culturelle Féminine), of which she was elected President in 1980. She worked with great zeal for the establishment of the Department of Greek Federation.
In 1979, she founded the Foundation "Panayotis and Efi Micheli", in which she was the first president and in which she bequeathed all her property.
The Foundation "Panagiotis and Efi Micheli" has organized three retrospective exhibitions of her works: in Athens (2002), Rethymno (2005) and Berlin (2006).
