Special Information for the Artist
He studied at ASKT (1974-1980) stage design. His work mainly contain oil paintings that move in the space of abstract expressionism and compositions with various materials such as timber, buckram, earth, metal elements, threads etc. He combines drawing and sculptural forms, creating a dramatic theatrical sense and a poetic configuration of space.
He has presented his work individually (Spanish Embassy 1982, Titanium 1987, Festival Patras 1988, Museo de la Ciudad Valencia 1990, K Gallery London 1991, Dracos Art Center 1992, Zoympoylaki 1993, Museum of Cycladic Art 1994, Russian Museum Petersburg 1995, Metamorphoses and Suits Museum Poyskin Moska 1998 etc.) and has participated in group exhibitions as well. He is member of EETE.
