Special Information for the Artist
Born in Athens, in 1961.
She studied painting at Athens School of Fine Arts with N. Kessanlis, D. Mytaras, L. Papakonstantinou, N. Papanikolaou, and engraving with the Th. Exarchopoulos. At the same time she studied at Accademia di Belle Arti of Firenze.
Her painting, which is based on the geometric vocabulary, is distinguished for the inwardness, the clarity and musical voice.
In 1985 she was honoured with discrimination for the film “the colours” while from 1986 she deals with the teaching of art.
