Special Information for the Artist
Student of Lytras at ASFA and of Β.Constan, G.Lefevre and Laurence at Julian Academy in Paris, and after returning to Athens, he taught in 1911 and between 1915-49 at Athens School of Fine Arts. In 1949 he was elected to the Academy in Athens. He was known in particular for his superb portraits and depictions of female charm, and was unique in conveying atmosphere at various moments in a purely impressionist style.
