Special Information for the Artist
Antonia Mantzouka was born in Athens.
2003-2008: Studied at the School of Fine Arts (ASFA) of Athens, under the supervision of John Valavanidis, Michalis Manousakis, Panos Charalambous and Daphne Angelidou, graduating with honors. She specialized on painting and mosaic.
She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Greece and abroad with the Group UNESCO and the Festival of Visual Arts (Athens Fine Arts Festival) winning awards and accolades for her artistic creations.
Her first solo exhibition was held in September 2008 in the Petrified Forest of Lesvos, Sigri.
2009-2010: Postgraduate studies in "Artistic creation, Research and Editing" at the University of Barcelona with a scholarship from the Maria Kassimatis Foundation as well as "Healing Through Art", and parallel specialized in Special Education.
