Special Information for the Artist
He attended courses of painting at Utrecht of Holland and in Birmingham College of Art in England. For ten years he lived in Europe and in the USA. In the beginning of his artistic course during 1960 he developed elements of abstract expressionism, with accent in the big surfaces and the energetic use of colour. The forms are presented single, incompetent at most times to communicate in lyric and poetic atmosphere, and he gives to his work symbolic elements.
He has presented his work individually (Mitilini 1965, Huchier Brussels 1968, Atlas International Foundation Wassenar Holland 1969, Drian Galleries London 1970, Comendium Birmingham England 1970, De Sfinx Amsterdam 1971, Chilton 1973, Lymperaki 1974, Connoisseur's Gallery 1975, Collection 1978, 1981, Zygos Nicosia 1979, Antinor 1982, Room of Correspondents of Foreigner Type 1987, Argo 1988, Brushstroke 1988, PKD of Old Faliron 1992, Shipping Club Piraeus 1992, Rodiaki Villa Rhodes 1997 etc.) and has taken part in group exhibitions as well.
