Special Information for the Artist
Liapis was born in Oinofyta. He lived in Vienna until 1976; he traveled to many countries of Europe, many times in Egypt, in Jordan and America. He is self-taught painter and sculptor. Many projects are located in Greece and abroad. He has had 26 solo exhibitions and taken part in 55 topics - group exhibitions.
The decorative elements, in all his works, are carriers of a particular dynamic that seek to reach the unconscious that happens to create forms. Freedom, spontaneity and the adventurous way create characteristics of personal idiom, a dreamy atmosphere with a sense of fluid space.
