Special Information for the Artist
He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1958-1962). During the periods 1966-1968 and 1974-1979 he worked as an assistant at the EMP. His abstract compositions are distinguished for the multicolour and transparency. The use of collage technique, the chromatic restriction in the scales of black-white they characterize his line of work as shaped human forms which are combined with objects composes of surreal extensions. He has presented his work individually (Room of Art Athens 1964, 1967, 1969, Astor 1971, KET 1974, Panselinos Thessaloniki 1976, 1978, Nees Morfes 1976, 1979, 1993, 1997, Modern Engraving 1979, Medousa 1985, 1990, PD Larissa Museum Katsigra 1987, Argo Nicosia 1989, Eirmos Thessaloniki 1993 etc.) and has taken part in group exhibitions as well. He is member of EETE and founding member of KET.
