Special Information for the Artist
Born and living in Corfu. Her work is based on a combined study of the nature and the human body. The human body has been initially studied within her graduation thesis where the principal object of study was the body of athletes. Another part of her work is based on children features, playing on the beach, running, lying on the bed sheet, innocent and carefree. Her last work is depicting human figures with a more internal point of view. Anastasia Krokidi has held a solo painting exhibition in Corfu where she showed works with focus on the female form.
