Special Information for the Artist
He was one of the most representative artist of Eptanisian School. He exposed his relations with an artistic and cultural delivery including post Byzantine art with the technique of eggtempera and with a Cretan Flemish style. Important thing is being considered apart from his activity as a painter and his effect in the culture of satirical poetry. On the contrary, he imitated the Italian baroque without undertaking initiative within the illustrative level and the style. His work is religious and secular.
