Special Information for the Artist
He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1969-1974). His atmospheric attribution of natural landscape as space of experienced memory constitutes the thematic starting line of his work. He handles fluid chromatic writing in his outlines absorbing often in his compositions the human presence with the environment space. He has presented his work individually (Chrysothemis 1982, 1988, Gallery 7 1985, Nees Morfes 1989, Ariadni Irakleios 1990, Ekfrasi 1992, 1995, 1997 etc.) and has taken part in group exhibitions as well. He is member of EETE.
