Special Information for the Artist
Born in Thessaloniki in 1957. He studied at the physicomathematics School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1976-1981) and took a geology degree. Afterwards studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki under D. Kontos and V. Dimitreas. His work is distinguished for the rich morphoplastic vocabulary, the density of expression and the internal discipline. His main subject is constituted of the human form, placed in internal or exterior space. His work can be found at the Cultural Centre of Thessaloniki etc. He works also as a graphic designer, illustrator, cartoonist and designer in advertising forms, books, posters etc. He is member of the Chamber of Fine Arts.
