BIOGRAPHY

She was born in Athens in 1937. She took her first art lessons with painter Orestis Kanellis in 1955 and the following year she enrolled in the Academie Julian in Paris, under professors A. Planson and R. Bezombes. In 1957 she was admitted to the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts with professor Souverbie, while attending classes at the Atelier de la Grande Chaumiere and the Ecole du Loyvre. In 1984 she co-founded D.A.N.A.E., an art-foundation in Puilly, France, organizing artistic events and exhibiting regularly. She lived and worked between Athens, Lausanne and Paris. She died in Paris in 2000.
