Olga Kormali was born in Rhodes and raised in Athens.
Self-taught painter, she created her first paintings at the age of sixteen. One of her first paintings is in Kalamos Beach Hotel. From 1980 till 1985, she held a workshop based on painting copper plating and cornice structures. In 1987, she started working in a handicraft’s as a painter of tourist statues till 2001. Since then she has been devoted to art.
Many of her creations have already been a part of private collections. She has taken part in many art exhibitions and she has received excellent reviews and praises. Her painting “Meteora” received the first prize from the European Company of Scientists-Artists-Authors on 23/02/2008. Also her painting “Rethimno” received the first prize in the panhellenic exhibition of fine arts of the Philology Society “Parnassus” on 04/04/2008.
She is a member of the Chamber of Greek Fine Arts and of UNESCO (the branch of Piraeus and Islands Province).
