Special Information for the Artist
He studied painting at the School of Arts, under Nikiforos Lytras. In 1875, he participated in “Olympia” with two of his works and was awarded the Silver Medal of Second Class. In 1878, he exhibited in the Real Estate of I. Stephanou one of his paintings with ethographic theme. At the same year, he won a scholarship and went to Paris to continue his studies. In 1881, he returned to Athens and then moved to Syros. His painting includes portraits. He also dealt with ethographic themes and duplications. He died at a young age due to tuberculosis.
