He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Afterwards he became apprentice close to F. Kontoglou and collaborated with him by illustrating churches. Thematicaly he is focused on landscape and human forms. His compositions have an intense experiential character alongside with an nostalgic disposal and are distinguished for the cleanliness of expressive means, the naturalness and the directness of description. He has presented his work individually (Art
1958 , Ora 1969 , 1973 , 1 976 , 1978 , A rt Volos 1970 , Kochlias Thessaloniki 1974 , 1977 , Tholos 1975 , Kreoni dis 1978, St avrakaki Irakleios C rete 1979 , Argo 1982, Astrolavos Piraeus 1992 etc.) as well as in group exhibitions. He dealt with hagiography of churches in Greece particularly of the Chevetrogne monastery in Belgium and the temple of Orthodoxe Center of Oecumenical Patriarchate in Chambery at Geneva where the traditional Byzantine style is enriched with his personal figurative style. Apart from painting and image graving he is also cadet novelist. He is member of EETE.
