BIOGRAPHY

Born in Nea Fokea of Mikra Asia in 1914. After 1922 her family was in Mytilini. Here Anna Kindini finished high school and in 1930 she went to Athens where she worked as an architectural designer. After 1936 opened her first works in pencil. In 1945 she moved to Paris and studied at the engraving workshop of the School of Fine Arts and in free colleges Julien and Grand Somier. In 1947 she participated for the first time, in a group exhibition of Greek artists of Paris, with pencil drawings and etchings. By 1949 she completed the first major series of projects the "Pages", using for the first time, the coal. In 1960 she made her first solo exhibition in Paris. After 1975 her works vary somewhat with the small "engraved plans" appear to her work, for the first time, the color.

Anna Kindini has exhibited individually in Paris, Israel, London, Brussels, Antwerp and Massa.She participated in group exhibitions in France, Switzerland, Greece, England, Yugoslavia, Italy, A. Berlin, Israel.
