Born in Kynidaros, Naxos, 1930. He took painting and hagiography courses from the painter P. Papanikolaou (1958-1965) and studied the Byzantine monuments of Greece. His painting work is constituted by oils, tempera, and collage in textile, paper, timber. He mainly deals with still-life painitngs and landscapes and his work is characterized by representational tendencies. He is member of EETE and “Pan-Hellenic Association of Hagiographers”.

He has made hagiographies in churches in Athens, Peloponnese, Kavala, Naxos and the orthodox temple of St. Pavlos in Nuremberg. His works can be found in the Museum of Holy Abbey Patmos, in the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism, etc.
