BIOGRAPHY

Born in Athens, 1938.

He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1959-1963) with teacher G. Moralis, studying at the same time the technique of mural. In 1964, thanks to scholarship that awarded his scenery for the popular Ballet of the National Thetre of North Greece, he is given the chance to tour in Greece and study the Greek art. In 1966 he teaches drawing in the Centre of Technological Research in Athens. In 1967 he leaves for Paris with scholarship of the French government, he studies in École des Beaux-Arts (atelier Tondu), deals with engraving, watches theoretical courses in École Pratique des Hautes Études and in the faculty of Louvre.

The objects in his still-life paintings come from a world that does not exist anymore or tends to disappear and which already we have lost the meaning of. Another side of his artistic personality is been expressed by the sculptural that were exposed for the first time in 1984.
