BIOGRAPHY

As an adolescent took painting and drawing courses in Mitilini from A.Protopatsi (1939-1940). He studied architecture at the Witwaterstand University of Johanesburg (1945-1948). In 1959 he settled in Paris where he dealt professionally with drawing and painting. In 1978 he finally comes to Greece and since 1979 works as a director at the Museum-library Teriade in Mitilini. He is included among the established painters of the school of Paris. In Paris he got influenced from the abstraction which was culminating and his first artworks which made him known are abstract works. The light and color describe his work. After he returned to Greece he dealt exclusively with the attribution of natural space.
