Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Sparta at 1939
He studied painting under K. Iliadis and then in Paris. In 1962 he executed murals for the Municipal Nursery of Athens. The frontal figures prevails in his painting along with the strong utilization of ornamental elements from the folk art and H. Matisse's influence while in some works he proceeds to a more abstractive attribution.
